Vivian Huang has been teaching the cello to our daughter Ray, 9, since this past summer. We visited Watertown Library where Vivian was hosting "Free play-in" session once every month Even though Ray was not officially Vivian's student, Ray really loved the sound of the different cellos blending in together and was encouraged by Vivian who really took the time to show Ray the broad range and beautiful tones that the instrument could express. We decided to ask Vivian to privately instruct Ray at our home every other Wednesday and both my wife and I have been impressed with Vivians seriousness and focus with Ray, who has been improving and growing at a much more accelerated pace than previously with only her school's weekly lesson. Vivian is good natured and prompt and gets right to work with Ray. Since lessons with Vivian, Ray has auditioned and been selected for the Chamber orchestra here in Arlington. We would gladly recommend Vivian to any parent or Guardian looking to enhance their child's understanding and appreciation of music.

Ms. Vivian consistently provides a supportive and adaptable teaching style. She guides our child in discovering the joy of playing a new instrument and appreciating harmonious ensembles. Furthermore, her meticulous attention to technique seamlessly complements her emphasis on musicality.
